Dana Holding Corporation announced their use of Wellman Engineering Resin's EcoLon®, post-consumer recycled (PCR), nylon in their cylinder-head cover application used by the Ford Motor Company in their Ford Fusion and Ford Escape automotive programs.
As the first automotive product of its kind to me manufactured from post-consumer recycled nylon, EcoLon® allows Dana to not only benefit the environment but also generate significant cost savings while meeting all of the specifications of virgin based nylon or metallic alternatives.
